Tara wants to remind you it's that wonderful time of year when the devil grass seeds are about. Remember to check your dog over fully when you return from walks to make sure they don't have any seeds on them. Some of the top places to check are; 👂Ears: part the ears and make sure no seeds have fallen into the ears. If your dog seems irritated by their ears or holding their head to one side, give your vet a call. 👅Mouth: check there gums and inside their mouth to make sure none have got swept in whilst panting. 🐾Paws: have a look in-between your dogs paw pads to make sure none have got embedded. If your dog has got a grass seed stuck that you're unable to get too call your vet. Grass seeds can embed under the dogs skin and work their way deeper into your dog. Don't hide your dogs away in this glorious weather, just be extra vigilant during and after walks. 🌱🐶
